On Team Roles and Responsibilities:
Forming a team is a matter of assessing resources and assembling the right team members and sub-set of team members to carry out the various tasks.
Each team member has an aspect of the team outcome that they are responsible for enacting. Some of the work may need to be done individually; and some of the work may need to be done in a group or sub-group. Regardless, when all the roles are performed, the outcome is a success if all members have fulfilled their roles' responsibilities - with or without the help of other team members.
